| Poul Erik Hansen has 80 DKR cows in a conventional stable and the younger stock in a freestall barn. The farm is 120 hectares. I have had my straw baled with Binder-Wrap equipment for the fourth year this season. The wrapped bales are easy to use. It saves work because I do not have to remove a wet or frozen layer and the film is very easy to remove. In the harvest season I can use the men better, because I can leave the bales in the field until we have more time. We also avoids the mouldy layer under the bales, when they are wrapped in stead of stored in the barn. |
